Information
TifGrand™ is the world’s first and only sterile triploid Bermudagrass for shade. It is has very consistent thin, dark green blades and will maintain a dense, monoculture stand in conditions from full sun to significant shade. TifGrand™ thrives in 60-70% shade! It is attractive to turf managers because of its high density and rapid regeneration from activity damage. It spreads by both stolons and rhizomes without being overly aggressive and requires lower fertilizer (nitrogen) and water inputs than previously released Bermudagrasses.
